Heart of Music in Hill Country

I'm so glad to be back in the Texas Hill Country for a couple of weeks before we head off to Colorado. This part of Texas is just oozing with music and get excited when we have shows here. The choices for someone interested in seeing a live show are unbelievable almost 7 nights a week. I really feel lucky to be a part of it all and hope that you will choose one of our shows for your entertainment. Check out our Calendar and come see us. I'm really excited about the tour of Colorado coming up. We will be in Telluride for my Birthday Party, spring will be in the air, hopefully it will not snow and we will get to see all our great friends there!
Passing of Lil Dave Thompson
On February 14, 2010, blues guitarist Lil Dave Thompson was killed in a car wreck on his way home to Mississippi from Touring the East Coast. I considered Dave to be a good friend of mine and I will miss him dearly. I used to call him at least once a month just to hear stories of how the music business would drive him crazy. We'd laugh and share stories that only road musicians can appreciate. He was a true Bluesman and a true talent!
Lil' Dave is survived by his children: David Jr. (20), Danielle (19), Shequeena (18), Shirleiah (16) and Destiny (13); sisters Patricia, Barbara Denise (twin sister), Jennifer and Pasty Thompson, Zenovia Henderson and Rose Marie Richmond; and brothers John, Sam, Elijah Allen and Tyrone Thompson.
Any help you can provide to the family would be greatly appreciated. The expenses are mounting and Lil' Dave had no insurance. Please help. Even the smallest amounts can make a difference.
